The Firestarter: Human Defense Class

Tactical Summary: The Firestarter is a defensive area of effect class who burns everything in his path. He can create walls of fire to prevent dinosaurs from ambushing the mercenaries, and is especially effective at toasting groups of Compys.

Pros:
• Can protect teammates with walls of fire
• High damage output when close enough
• Highly effective against groups of Compys

Cons:
• Limited to near-melee range
• Can potentially harm self or teammates with fire if not careful

The custom-made Flamesaw is two weapons in one:

Flame-Thrower: The Flame-Thrower shoots fire just outside of melee range. The fire spreads from the grass on the ground to nearby foliage, creating a wall of fire that the dinosaurs will need to navigate around to get to the humans. Highly effective against groups of Compys.

Chainsaw: The Flamesaw also has a chainsaw mounted underneath it, it is more favorable to use the chainsaw in close quarters situations to avoid accidental fire damage to yourself.

*This class is still a work in progress, any and all aspects are subject to change

An great character again. Compy is probably going to be my favourite Dinosaur class so this will be my sworn enemy I gues. :P

Just wondering, it will be able to harm himself and allies? What are the plans to avoid intentional teamkills?

Besides that its an great character. Especially the ability of fire to spread sounds great, creating walls of fire to hold Dinosaurs at bay or toast them. And an chainsaw to back it up?!

Probably the most awesome character, though I'll probably wont use it as much as Trapper and Native.

Talking about that, are you guys still allowing for people to pick the class they want? So we can have teams of like 2 Trappers 1 Scout 1 Firestarter/ 1 Compy 3 T-Rex? So basicly still freedom of choice or has that policy changed?

Probably a customisable setup option in server settings will determine how many Players in each class will be permitted to play.
